John McCain Concession
I watched John McCain's concession speech. His was unlike any of the other very dry speeches we have watched in class. McCain truely appears to be sincere and his supporters are clearly upset. At the begining of the speech they began to boo at Obama's name but McCain told them not to. He really seems to want the country to come together and put this election behind him. He is ready to move on and he wants his supporters to know support Obama. It was interesting to see the emotion that is not seen in the other candidates. Instead of thanking everyone in the begining he wait until the end to thank everyone specifically.

I agree that John McCain's speech had a little something special. His sincerity was a really important part of that for me. I hope that finding info is going well! Like I've told the other girls, I haven't quite gotten in writing mode, but hopefully it will start coming together more easily once I get some info. Have a good break!
I like your input on the McCain concession speech. His really was different from all of the other ones we watched. I like how he hushed the crowd when they were booing that showed a lot of maturity and wisdom on his part. I'm really excited for our speech hopefully we can put it all together! Have a great Thanksgiving!
